Paula Kolojeski

Paula Kolojeski, originally from Kansas, has been living and painting in New Jersey for thirty years. Working on location whenever possible, she tries to capture the play of light, bringing the viewer into the moment or inspiration. Because of the reflective nature of sand and sea, she finds the beach is a great place to study these effects. Paula usually chooses pastels for her outdoor work because of their convenient portability; she works with oils on location as well. Back in the studio she brings these sketches to a finished state and often developing oil paintings based on them. During the winter months she enjoys working on still life.

Paula's work is in private and corporate collections in this country, Canada, Europe and Asia.

A talented artist, Paula Kolojeski has covered the Monmouth and Ocean County area with prints of her painstakingly worked and true to her original pastel paintings. Please enjoy this sampling of her work.
